                 Fly Like a Hawk 5K Fun Run/Walk

            and Flying Hawks Dash

 

                           Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009

        9:00 a.m.

50 Yard Dash at 10:00

All proceeds benefit the students of Hill City Elementary!

Registration:

Early Registration (by Sept. 5) 

·   5K – $15.00

·   Pickens County Student 5K: $12.00

·   Family rate (family of four) $50.00

·   50 yard dash (ages 12 and under) - $10 (includes shirt and ribbon)

 

Late registration (mail-in by September 12) and race day

Race day packet pick-up begins at 7:30 a.m.  Race numbers will be available the day of the race.

Pre-registered entrants (race and 50 yard dash) will receive a colorful short-sleeved t-shirt.  Late registrants will receive shirts as available.

Directions: Located in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Hill City Elementary is located at 600 Hill Circle, Jasper, Georgia.  From Highway 515 follow Ga Highway 53 West 3 miles.  Turn right onto Hill Circle.

Course information:  Course will begin and end at Hill City Elementary.  Join us on a beautiful (almost) fall morning in North Georgia and enjoy a mostly paved course with gentle hills.  Strollers welcome!

Awards: Overall first place male and female; first place Masters male and female: and top 3 finishers for all age groups at 10 and under to 80 and over.  Ribbons to all 50 yard dash participants.

Refreshments: Provided after the race to all participants.
